I want to upgrade the memory on a lenovo h50-50 desktop. the max memory is stated as 12gb (odd??). it has 2 slots and one has an 8gb module. do i add an 8gb for a total of 16gb of which 4gb would i assume be unusable or can you add a 4gb in the other slot for a total of 12gb?. Hello bomucle, vista 32 bit only handles 3 gigs of memory, in your bios you should see 4 gigs. if you use vista 64 bit then you can use 4 gigs..
